Clarity was born out of our own personal experience - Read about our personal journey here.

When it came time to transition our loved one into care, we felt anxious, confused & overwhelmed. The process was emotionally challenging, filled with complex financial decisions, and professional guidance was hard to find. This experience inspired us to create Clarity Aged Care Advisors, a service dedicated to supporting families through the aged care journey with compassion and expertise.

At Clarity, we provide clear, reliable guidance to help ease the emotional, financial, and logistical challenges of entering aged care. Our team develops strategic plans to ensure families navigate the process efficiently, with emphasis on the financial outcome. Our mission is to empower families with the knowledge and support they need to make confident and informed decisions about their loved one’s care.

Director
Rodney is a solicitor by training, however in 2000 he began a new career as a stockbroker and financial adviser. In 2006, together with his business partners, Rodney established an investment management firm in Melbourne. After being overwhelmed and confused by the process of moving his mother into aged care and recognising the significant pitfalls many clients face, he began providing aged care advice to guide clients through the process.

Michael Horin

Director

After beginning his career in finance, analytics and strategy, Michael joined his father Rodney to grow Clarity in order to assist more families with the transition of their loved one into aged care. Michael’s personal experience navigating the complexities of aged care has shaped his empathetic approach as he ensures all families feel supported through a challenging, stressful and emotional process.

Liz is often the first point of contact for families reaching out to Clarity. With a calm, compassionate and mature approach, she takes the time to listen carefully to each family’s circumstances, understand how Clarity may be able to assist, and ensure they are connected with the right support. Drawing on her personal experience and strong network across the aged care sector, Liz helps families navigate the initial stages of the aged care journey with clarity, reassurance and care.

Anni brings over 30 years of advisory experience to Clarity. As an accredited Aged Care Professional, she combines expertise with genuine care. She takes a thoughtful and strategic approach to analysing aged care options, to help families discover the most suitable ways to fund quality care for their loved ones. Anni was recently the top graduating student in Deakin University’s Master of Financial Planning.
